Yogurt/Curd is an integral part of Ayurvedic diet. It pacifies Vata, and increases Kapha and Pitta Dosha. Commercial Joghurt may contain harmful additives, sugar or artificial thickeners which may do more damage to your body than balancing your Doshas. Making joghurt yourself with our unglazed curd pot will keep you safe from harmful chemicals. It helps it to retain the taste, quality and nutrition value of the yogurt. Clay retains temperature for a long time and hence is ideal for setting flavorsome Yogurt, without it getting spoiled or sour. Making curd in this bowl gives it right kind of thickness and consistency as the clay soaks up the excess whey/water of the curd.

Crafted from terracotta, this pot neutralizes the pH balance of the Yoghurt. You can now enjoy the taste of Joghurt with an unmistakably earthy flavor and fragrance.

  1. Pallabi Bansal

I always buy Joghurt from supermarket but I wanted to prepare it at home like my grandmother. Tried different vessels (copper, metal, glass.. I tried everything…!!) but something was always missing in the taste. Then I bought this clay curd pot and the results are awesome. The curd is so thick and creamy and tastes way better than supermarket. It tastes healthy too. I am happy with my choice. Thanks Vedaleben!

  2. Niharika

Everytime I try to set curd, it ends up being a little sour for my taste and hence I decided to give a try to this clay curd pot and discovered that a vessel is very important when it comes to setting curd on your own. I love the consistency of the curd, it feels fresh and tastes yummy. Amazing!!
